Patience is a virtue

At long last we have finally taken posession of our new caravan it's all very exciting and very impressive so I guess it was worth the wait (I think). However we have to wait another week for the annexe to be delivered and we are supposed to be getting a protective coating applied to the van so of course Murphy has struck again, apart from the rain the application contractor has sustained an injury and cannot work at least for a couple of weeks Ho Hum !!!!!!!!

This old slab hut with its copper and galv strips covering gaps in the timber slabs is still being occupied, at the side of the hut is a central heating unit and sat dish.

Latest news our caravan will be ready for pick up on my mother's 91st birthday, next Tuesday 27th July hope that's a good omen, although it will be 41/2 months overdue through various reasons no doubt it will be worth the wait.

Well the caravan is now 4 months over due this week however they have promised pick up by the end of next week commencing 19th July, keeping our fingers crossed. I will post some photos of it in this blog.
