Well folks we finally got away today around midday nice and steady no rushing, blood pressures under control all round. Had a good run up the highway and decided to make a stop where the Ettamoga Pub is to check tyres etc, not that the famous pie shop had anything to do with it but we indulged anyway. We finally arrived at Mooloolaba Beachfront Caravan Park and as you can imagine it is chock a block with travellers from down south and NZ. Our allocated position would have to be the tightest to get into in the whole park there is one narrow road in with side lanes running off to one side and of course I overshot our lane by three rows and had to reverse all the way back and round a narrow corner and all the way down our lane, 90% of the caravan park men watched on as two very helpful blokes guided me with miltary precision and a hell of a lot of manoeuvring to finally get it into an exremely tight position much to everyones amazement. We may have to cut the Council fence down to get out.

Vantect protective coating was finally applied today, I have my final root canal work Wednesday and either a crown or filling next Monday then we are off on Tuesday 24th August (Nancy's birthday) we are booked into Mooloolaba Caravan Park for a few days for Nancy to catch up with her sister and brother who both live on the Sunshine Coast. We will then move around within a few hundred kls of Brisbane for a couple of weeks, possibly Rainbow Beach or return to Caboolture for repairs if we find anything wrong with the caravan. Early Sept we are booked into Canarvon Gorge for a week and then who knows where, as they say - watch this space.
Between now and next Tuesday I will put the rig over a weighbridge to ensure we are all legal and balanced correctly and Nancy has to organise her clothing which seems to be a major drama at the moment, I've said all along we will be pulling out of the drive way and Nancy will be saying, "I haven't tried on .............."
I'm trying hard not to say too much.
